Wiring diagram I took the old batteries out, and now trying to put new ones back but misplace the wiring diagram, can you help me with how to hook it back up

Would need to post year make and model for a diagtam. In all probability when the battery got shorted out by the pulley it damaged the voltage regulator inside the alternator. Make sure all your connections are clean and tight.

Sounds like , if the wires were in the wrong place it might have blown a fuse. Check the fuses to see if one is blown out.
If all the fuses are good then you probably need a diagram.
I like to use autozone.com for diagrams. You could try that.

Yes of course if it was made with the unit its was important then as
well as it should be now contact manufacture. Reset buttons reset micro processor functions as well as reset the unit memory capability.. Hope this helps God bless

Back track. Somewhere you left something undone or hooked up wrong when you installed the alarm. Another is to check the amperage on the battery as you may have ruined it by letting it go dead on you. Happens you know. The "click" is that the solenoid is not getting enough juice to turn the car over so like I said, "back track" your work. For voltage checks, you can get a simple 12 volt checker or meter at your hardware store.

Hi, the big cable from the battery connects to the big terminal on top. The smaller wire goes on the "S" terminal. Are there more wires than that?

+ is red wire positive hookup. -- is black wire or negative hookup. the symbols are by the battery posts on top of battery. have a good one !!

first of all you need to start over there is a wire somewhere not hooked up right these are some of the places you can get an installation kit Radio Shack, Walmart, Meijers, Best Buy, with these kits you just plug in to the old radio wires and the diagram that comes with it tells you what is what

There should be a wire diagram on the back side of the panel you took off to get to the sequencer

I replace one on my U6439-900. I took the back cover off and had to cut the wires and put new wire nuts on. Then I secured them really well with electricians tape. Might help to even put on a zip tie around the wiring. Hope that helps.
