A Hard Reset will remove all data and reload the Operating System clean and with no password. The Reset is done with the tablet turned off, so you don't need a password to do it.
Turn off the device. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power keys. When the Alcatel logo displays, release both keys. Use the Volume Up/Down keys to navigate to wipe data/factory reset.

Hi. The link below is a short youtube video on how to rest the pattern code on your phone, The guy shows 3 way but the 3rd way is a factory reset meaning you loose every thing in your phone but the first two ways are worth watching. I hope this helps......CHEERS..
