My new samsung top loading washer wa50F9A8D SW/A2 model is shrinking my cotton clothes when on tap water choice. Does samsung put any warm water in at factory setting on tap water? I know cold setting does put warm water in at one point to "disolve" the HE soap.

Check the drain pump itself. But at the same time if your clothes are still sudsy it sounds like it is not going through all the cycles. Almost like it is skipping a cycle

If its a High efficiency washer it doesn't use much water. Usually the front load washers are HE washers

Surely you are in a better position to work this out than us! Try ising a hose with a rubber cup connection to fot to your tap.Perhaps even boild up a large container of hot water and carry it to the machine!
