SOURCE: HP laptop speakers went out, fairly new

Hi kimberly,

If your laptop is still under warranty then this is something they have to repair for you. It sounds like a hardware error, not sure about the actual fault but two speakers burnt is weird. (Especially if you keep the volume near 60-70% of the max volume)

Still if the laptop is out of warranty then dissasemblying is required. The information required are all give to the Service manual of th DV6000 provided from HP itself along with the part list and coding of the new set of speakers you need.

The process is not hard actually for this model. It can be done fairly easy. (in other laptop a complete disassembly is required which is very tough task)

The manual you will need is the one below. (Simply left click)

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01035677.pdf

At page 146 you will see how the speakers are removed. Also follow the instruction on the quoted previous sections.

The part number of the speakers is 431447-001 and it is mentioned at the same page.

The part costs around 5$ used from Ebay :) If you dont believe me check it out yourself :)

Many regards and I hope you can get your precious laptop working again as a charm :)

SOURCE: reboot my hp laptop

Hold and press the power button down ( and dont let go ) for at least 10 seconds or untill laptop shuts down and you can reboot by powering it back up by pressing power again. If it still shows access denied after you rebooted then more than likely you need a password.

Lost sound

Hi, I not an expert here but I willing share my advice...
1st thing 1st, check the driver of the sound adapter whether it is install accordingly... cause sometime driver might be the problem...
2nd, run diagnosis... run command dxdiag in run box from the start button... check if diagnosis is success or failed...
3rd, if you have sound card(USB or slot) try use it, to check whether your built-in sound(from m/board) might(could be) has malfunction...
I hope this help you to solve it...

How do you reboot a computer if u press reboot and it wont reboot and i lost my boot disk

Unplug it, count to 10 and plug it back in. You may have to push the on switch too, If it is a laptop, you have to unplug it, take the battery out, count to 10, put the battery back in, plug it back in and push the power switch.

Washing machine

Peace,
ngafm at your service!

Lets try this first!
Unplug the washer for 5 minutes and then replug and try it to see if this reboots the system like when a computer acts up, we do the same thing for most electronic devices!
If for some reason this is not helpful, open the user guide and see what the tell you is the meaning of a code"le" on your specific machine!
How old is the washer?

I'm here all night if you want to write me back!
