I ordered a new door lock, which wasn't delivered in a timely matter. Then it appeared to be the wrong one. Then I ordered the correct one .. looked different as my old type, but the reseller confirmed it was the right one. Mounted it, did'nt work. Checked the PCB if all PCB-relays controlling the safety chain were actually working .. all fine. Felt really sad. Untill I read the above: push start button for 5 seconds. Solved.
I wish I visited Fixje right away.

Sounds like have inadvertently activated the child lock. To deselect you need to press and hold the start button for approx 5 secs or until the key light goes out. Hope this helps, please let me know if this works or if you need further assistance.l

Dont worry your machine is ok
the flashing key means your child lock is on, and has to be disengaged
What you need to do is press and hold the on/off button for approx 5 seconds This should turn the lock off.
