If you want to change the ringtone on your iPhone, the steps as below will help you to perform this task in an easy way.
1. Tap on "Settings" on the home screen of your iPhone. Then choose the option "Sounds & Haptics".
2. Tap on "Ringtone" in the section of Sounds and Vibration Patterns. Multiple ringtones can be found in the list and you also can see the current ringtone which is being used.
3. In this "Ringtone" screen, all ringtones on your iPhone can be seen here, you can select the ringtone you like whatever the default ringtone or the purchased ringtone or the custom ringtone.
4. You will see Alert Tones when sliding down the screen of your iPhone, Alert Tones are usually applicable to alarms or other notification, but they can also be applied to ringtones as well.
5. You can preview the ringtones that you have chosen, as the ringtone will play once you tap on it, then you can determine whether this ringtone suits your need.
6. Once you have selected the ringtone as default for iPhone, the checkmark beside the ringtone must exist and then you can go away from this screen, then tap on "Sounds & Haptics in the previous screen. Finally, your selected ringtone will be saved automatically.
After that, the ringtone you just set will play when you receive a call.

How can I retrieve my caller tunes from iCloud after a restore on a(n) iPhone 6 plus?

I have read of others having same problem of missing tones after restore or upgrade. Fwiw - I always save backups of everything on my iphone to my PC using iTunes and only use iCloud as my secondary backup. Using iTunes allows selection of each category including "tones". Even though the tones were restored, I found that each contact was reset back to default. I had to go back to each contact, select "edit" and then select "ringtone" which brought up the listing of available tones and all my custom tones were at the top of the list.

if you purchased ringtones or downloaded free ring tones from the iTunes Store and they are missing, you should be able to go to the iTunes Store on your iPhone, select "more" then select "purchases" and re-download them, they may only be listed under the music category. Although I also have heard some people are missing ring tones from their purchases. In this case, you will need to email or call apple customer service.

if all this fails, your can use iTunes or any other music editor to make your own ring tones. Basically you save a copy of the song in m4a format, edit the start and stop times to be 30 sec max play time and save the clip as an .m4r file. You can google the procedure, it's fairly easy. In iTunes, save the clip with a new title then go to the actual file location on the hard drive and simply change the file extension to m4r, then add the file to iTunes and it will show up under "tones", repeat as desired then you can sync the tones.

without iTunes, you need to use an app to make ring tones on your iPhone - Apple has not yet provided this functionality.

How's the new Apple iPhone 5C different from the iPhone 5?

The new Apple iPhone 5C is very similar to the iPhone 5 both in software and hardware. The real difference between the two is their appearance.
Differently from the older iPhones 4s and 5, and the newer iPhone 5S, made of alluminium and glass, the iPhone 5C has an outside structure of polycarbonate, which makes the phone more resistant and similar to other plastic-based phones. Another big change was the color range. The iPhone 5C comes in 5 different very bright colors, only seen on iPods before.

My DVDXCOPY Platinum will not activate after inputing the License ID# and Password. Can anyone help please?

DVDXCOPY has been shut down for many years, their are a few people still selling it knowing it can't be activated. Their were a few sites that carried activation codes that worked. In all reality its not a very good program, I started out using it and switched to DVDFAB Platinum and haven't found anything it wouldn't copy, it also shrinks long movies to fit on a 4.7 DVD.
