How do I delete videos? - Tablets & eReaders

If you using the ios 8 version try opening your Settings then go to General. Choose "Manage Storage" then choose "Videos". Find the video you want to delete the swipe it to the left. You should be able to see the Delete option there

To delete a single image, summon the image on the screen and touch the Trash icon that appears in the upper-right corner. Choose the Confirm Delete command. The image is gone.
Deleting a video isn't as easy as removing an image: You have to long-press the video thumbnail in an album. The long-press activates multiple-selection mode. For removing a video, however, just touch the Trash icon that appears in the upper-right corner of the screen. Choose the Confirm Delete command, and the video is gone.
You can't undelete an image or a video you've deleted. There's no way to recover such an image using available tools on the Galaxy Tab.
You can apply the Delete command to an entire swath of items in the gallery at once. To do so, you must know the secret, found below:

1. Open the album (pile) you want to mess with.
2. Long-press an image to select it. Instantly, you activate image-selection mode.
   

1. Continue touching images and videos to select them.Or you can choose the Select All command.
2. Perform an action on the group of images or videos.

To deselect items, touch them again. To deselect everything, touch the Done command.
The type of commands you can use on a group of items in an album depends on the group. Some commands, such as Delete and Share, can be performed on any old group. Other commands, such as the image rotation commands, work only with pictures, not with videos.

What kind of tablet or ereader do you use?

Click on the "Photos" tile to open the viewer and then click on "Camera Roll". Open the photo you wish to delete and then swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the menu. "Delete" is one of the available options.

There are different types of videos.
titles that you purchase from iTunes that are viewed the videos app delete just like an app, tap..hold...delete. If there is a cloud icon in the corner it means the video is purchased, and can be downloaded or streamed to view.

home videos via home sharing must be disabled via iTunes on the computer you are syncing home videos from.

videos in the photos app, select edit, select video, and then delete.

To delete a photo, go to your Pictures Library. Find the photos you want to delete. Then, just lightly touch the photo and swipe your finger down a little. This will select that photo, you will see a check in the upper right corner of the photo if you did it right. You can continue to select as many photos you want in this way. You will see the option to Delete at the bottom of the screen as soon as you select the first photo. To deselect the photo, just swipe it down again.

To delete a video, go to the Videos folder located on your Desktop and open it up. You can then select each video like you did for the photos. To unselect it, just touch the check mark which is on the top left corner. When you have finished selecting all the videos you want to delete, just click on the big red X on the top toolbar.

One note though - my directions are based on Windows 8.1, so make sure you have installed all your updates.

Tap on the edit button, and then tap on the delete button next to the video you wish to delete.

If you are talking about videos that you shot with the iPad, if you did not backup the iPad or sync with iTunes before you lost them, they are gone. If you mean purchased movies - you may be able to dwonload them again in the purchased tab of iTunes - if you live in the U.S. and - if those particular movies are available for re downloding. You need to use the same Apple ID that you bought them with.
