Could be a bad transfer switch.

WHAT IS ERROR/FAULT CODE 37 ON A ONAN 5500 MARQUE GOLD GENERATOR ?

Code 37 is a bad set configuration, that means engine cranking speed and generator output aren't happy with each other..

Where is the fuse on the onan 5500 built in generator?

Try under the bench seats around the table, near the heater.

How is the carbeurator bowl on an ONAN Marquis 7000 genset removed? I think it sat too long without Stabil and became clogged. It appears to be, maybe< pressed on as there are no visible holdong

They are generally sealed, as it affects the mixture. You can take the carb off, put on the bench and remove the shut off solenoid at the bottom of the bowl, remove black cap on main jet, remove screw, and unscrew the bowl. To set back up you will need to ideally check on a load bank, for ability to pick up full step load,

Onan genarator will not crank

If it wont crank, check to see if the solenoid on the starter pulls in, the starter and solenoid are one unit, it sounds like an internal starter contact, if you have 12V going to it. Assuming the battery is good. When you press and hold the stop button does the fuel pump pump prime? if so control board has power

I have an onan marquis 5500 watt RV generator that runs fine ,but won't generate.

Call Onan and tell them the Inverter Board is bad. If you're not producing AC Power, have them send you a new board or warranty the entire genset. It's unusual for Onan products to go out like that, but not unlikely that this is the source of the problem.

Typically, the DC motor outputs at 12 volts, so the leads going in to the inverter are only going to be a ground and a positive lead. Should be very simple to replace. Worst case scenario is you can hook an external inverter up to the DC leads on the front of that generator. Might not get the full 5.5kw from the system, but you'll be able to produce some power.

My Onan Marques Generator runs but not swap over to 120 volts

What do you mean won't swap over to 120Volts? are you referring to a transfer switch not switching over to generator?

No power coming out of generator or breakers in our rv

Is there power at the generator output leads, where they terminate? Find out first that will isolate a generator, or transfer switch error

Rv Generator does not turn on inside power, but cranks great

The regulator could be inside the gen. Maybe under one of the covers on the front. I'd poke around and take a cover or two off and look it over. You may be surprised!
