Status Light is constant red - I have already changed lamp. No Picture - How can I fix?

Press the Menu and the Device/input buttons both in together and see if the led blinks the two digit code of three blinks pause then followed by four blinks then it repeats the 34 blink several times. If so then the V26 Chassis power repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com will usually solve that issue. The kit contains the replacement capacitors and the CD with repair instructions.

My RCA D52W14 wont turn on it makes a weird noise and the power light blinks as it's making the noise three times than the blink stops and noise too

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. On the Deflection board there are 3 capacitors CP 114, 120 and 150. 3 blinks occur if any of them is puffed up on top. To resolve this issue you'll have to replace all the 3 capacitors CP150 2200UF 16, other 2 are 220UF 35v they will be green with gold writing on them. Also re solder all pins on Fly Back Transformer (FBT). Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

The tv will not power up. Blinks three times and shuts down. TL010 shorted ,replaced but still has problem.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. On the Deflection board there are 3 capacitors CP 114, 120 and 150. If any of them is puffed up on top replace all the 3 capacitors CP150 2200UF 16 other 2 are 220UF 35v they will be green with gold writing on them. Resolder all pins on Fly Back Transformer (FBT) also. FBT could be in the power supply. Check the SMPS and in any event replace CP 120: 330UF/35V/HF & CP 150: 2200UF/16V/HF (May be bulged or vented)

Always Resolder Cl031 & Cl032 (usually looks ok on visual inspection but common to ring crack).

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Bad capacitors? ladywinn

If you take the back off the deflection board is the one on the left. You must remove the board and near the front you will see a capacitor with a puffy top. Replace this one and the three closest capacitors around it. Not easily done unless you have some experience.

I have a RCA D56D20 tv will not power up it blinks three times

You have 2 more caps in same circuit you need to replace cp114---cp120 both are 220uf 35v. Also chirping nosie means Shorted hori output NTE 2324 .On second ribbon on deflection board make sure it is connect good or it will make a squealing noise and TV will not come on. Happy New Year.

Blinking power button

Blinking power light is usually due to bad capacitors on the power supply. See the tip for RCA atc336 under my profile that can apply to your set as well.
