Red cable to battery comes from a rectifier... or two rectifiers
Rectifier goes to transformer Secondary
Black cable to Battery goes to a Circuit breaker, then goes to the ammeter.
Ammeter goes to the Transformer.Center Tap of the Secondary.
the Amp select switch selects the different primary windings of the transformer...
thats basically what it is..
