Forgot password to unlock keypad

Bought refurbushed phone unlocked from cellular outfitter.com and i forgot my password for key pad unlock. someone told me to enter wrong pascode several times and phone would master reset, but 50 times later it won't! help!

Steps to reset phone using hardware keys

This restores the original factory settings and erases all downloaded content, including ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory.

Turn the phone OFF.
Turn on the device by holding both the Volume Up key and Volume Down key while pressing the Power key.
When the Android System Recovery screen displays, release the keys.
Using the volume keys, scroll to Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
Press the Power key to confirm.
Using the volume keys, scroll to Yes - Delete all user data.
Once complete, press the Power key.
Once complete, press the Volume Down key to scroll to Reboot System Now.
Press the Power key to confirm.

hey i have one 2 but what i did was put in a rejected sim and i typed in 97314618 and it worked for me so i could use mine on tmobile but i hope it works for u good luck

Don't know how to set key pad lock
Before locking the keypad first remember if the keypad lock is assigned with a security code.
Default value of the security code is normally 0000.

1. To lock the keypad first press the option key, then select the LOCK KEYPAD.
2. To unlock the keypad press the option key then press the "C" button.

You can check more lock/unlock optoons in the users manual, downloadable from this link. Read page 63 and on.

Yes, just type any password until your phone asking PUK code. PUK code is a unique number to unlock your phone if you forget your password. With puk code you can unlock motorola L6 from old password and you can setup new password, but please pay attention when you entering that code don't make mistake for many times. It will not make your motorola unlocked and your sim card also locked.

Samsung SGH a727 forgot password to turn on phone
To reset the handset, to the factory default settings, follow the steps below:
  1. While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Reset Settings (10)
  4. Highlight, using the navigation keys, any of the following:
    • All: Phone, Display, Profile and Alarm settings will be returned to default values
    • Phone Settings: only phone settings will be returned to default values
    • Display Settings: only display settings will be returned to default values
    • Profiles: only profile settings will be returned to default values
    • Alarms: only alarm settings will be returned to default values
  5. Press the center navigation key to check the box(es) of reset settings

How to unlock my security code
ranjithnairv + hardknox - press the menu key in the middle of the keypad, scroll to initial setup then select either master clear or reset and enter the 000000 as the security default codes.
