How do I find the door release card for maytag Neptune front loader

I would say that you have damaged your door lock. Most appliances have a door lock or a mico switch. this is the first port of call for the power to supply the w/machine.Safety measures??? go back to basics,is the door locking, any power to the going to the electronics. a door. Change faulty components???

can be done just need PATIENCE!.. youll need ot remove the door assembly, and the 2 screws oppisirethe heing willalow for the front "u" shaped panel to be reomved.. next remove the 4 screws from with in the dispenser area, and then there are perhaps (6) 5/16 screws holding the nextfront bulkead and maintop assy down.. after removing theese screrws youll be able to lift eh main top back wards( prop it with something, a few more screws will release te hlatch assembly.. from here you can probably install the new bellow, remove the spring and wire, and the work the new bellow around the tub lip. a third hand will come in handy, after working it around , youll needto reconnect the tension spring..HARDEST PART OF JOB>>> REQUIRES PATIENCE!!!!!. sometimes this goes on for me with out issue in 5 min, other times 25 min and im PISSED AT IT!!!!!!!,, wrap the wirer around bottom of lip and your going to hold one end of spring, needlenose vice grips work perfectly. then with another set of needle nose. stretchthe spring togethr to lock the wire around.. whern you finally get this reassemble the latch and drop the top back down replace all teh screws, and finally you need to retuck the bellow into the front bulkhead( tabbs line it up nicley.. good luck!!!

Open the soap dispenser. Look down in front of the fabric softener dish.
You should see a yellowy-green plastic cord (like weed-whacker line). Pull it.
The door should open.

If you don't see the cord, remove the four screws that hold the dispenser lid in place to find it. Just don't lose it when you put the cover back on.

HI, this will occur if the unit is having issues with the filling process during the wash cycle. Check The inlet hoses, to make sure they are not kinked in any way, or twisted. I would ,also, advise to inspect the water faucets as well. make sure the faucets are completely open al the way. If all is well with the hoses and faucets, move on ot the inlets assembly.

WATER INLET VALVE TEST PROCEDURE

The water inlet valve can be identified by the water hoses connected to it at the back of the washer. Start by turning off the water supply at the valves on the wall. Disconnect both hoses from the back of the washer. Place the hoses into a bucket and turn them on to confirm that you are getting good water pressure and to clear out any debris from the line.

Inspect the filter screens on both the hoses and the inlet valve for debris build up. If you find any debris, clean it out. Use caution to avoid damaging the filter screens because the screens in the valve are not replaceable.

If debris was not present then proceed to the next step of testing the solenoids. Access to the valve may be easiest by opening the top or the back of the washer, depending upon make and model.

There are two wires connected to each solenoid on the water inlet valve. Label the wires and connections so that you can properly reconnect them later. The wires are connected with slip-on connectors. Firmly pull the connectors off of the terminals ( Be sure to not pull the wires). You may need to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the connectors. Inspect the connectors and the terminals for corrosion. If either is corroded they should be cleaned or replaced.

Use a continuity tester or multimeter to test for continuity. Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X1. Touch one probe to each terminal. A reading of infinity indicates a bad solenoid that must be replaced. Different brands and models will have various measurements, but the valve should show some resistance if it is functioning properly. Test the second one in the same way as the first.

If the solenoid is working properly, but water leaks through the valve even when the washer is off, then the valve itself is the problem. Debris may be preventing the valve from closing. If the valve cannot be cleaned, it will have to be replaced. The valve can also fail mechanically. So even if it passes the electrical test, it may still require replacement. If you have ruled out all other possibilities, go ahead and replace the valve.
