Hello, I could help you through this website or email replace your belt. You can do it fairly easily. Below is a post I made about a repair I just completed on my dryer and I had to remove the drum and belt and put them back on. Belt is easy to replace. Message me back if you need some advice.

I made a vibration repair Oct 20, 2021. I have the exact same Blomberg DV17542 dryer. It was making a horrible vibration sound while empty and full. The top panel was vibrating loud but I knew there was something internally wrong with it.
I purchased a rear bearing and 4 new frictional glides(where the drum rests on at the front). I took the dryer apart, it was fairly straightforward, removed the drum, changed the rear bearing and replaced all 4 glides. I figured this would fix it....but no! Was disappointed hearing the noise again.
I figured it had to be the motor or the blower fan. I inspected the blower fan from the back without having to remove it and bingo! I could see lint or something else inside the blower wheel.
I used needle-nose pliers to reach in and pull out what was inside. I pulled out a fabric sheet covered in lint, and when I pulled that one out I could see another behind it. I pulled the second one out, vacuumed the fan, and made sure it spun freely and wasn't damaged.
Turned the dryer on and could hear a pin drop it was soo quiet. Problem solved. Any questions let me know.

How to replace lock body assembly on Blomberg Dryer dv17542

There is no definitive instructions to so this. Normally, go around to the back and remove screws or press catches to loosen and remove the top. Remove screws at the front kickplate. Pull the door and front forward, remembering that there are wires attached. Replace the latch and rebuild.

How to solve the problem of loud noise from a Blomberg dryer?

There are a few things that you can do to solve the problem of loud noise from a Blomberg dryer. First, make sure that the dryer is properly installed. If the dryer is not properly installed, it will vibrate and make noise. Second, check the dryer's belt to make sure that it is not loose. If the belt is loose, it will cause the dryer to make noise. Third, check the dryer's motor to make sure that it is not defective.

Blomberg dryer not heating after replacing element. What's the next move?

why guess, use meter to find where power is lost
dries have lots of overheat sensors
the makers has manual and schematic to see that.
get it first and end gue$$ing
learn to use a voltmeter.dmm,.
$15 can save you $100 in wrong parts and labor costs.
guessing can fail here 5 or 6 times, is that fun or cheap?

Blomberg dryer loud noise

Hello, I made this repair Oct 20, 2021. I have the exact same Blomberg DV17542 dryer. It was making a horrible vibration sound while empty and full. Not exactly the sound you had but a loud vibration noise. I just posted the video on youtube, search "Blomberg Dryer Vibration Blower). The top panel was vibrating loud but I knew there was something internally wrong with it.
I purchased a rear bearing($20 Canadian and 4 new frictional glides$7 each(where the drum rests on at the front of the dryer). I took the dryer apart, it was fairly straightforward, removed the drum, changed the rear bearing and replaced all 4 glides. I figured this would fix it....but no! Was disappointed hearing the noise again.

Turned the dryer on and could hear a pin drop it was soo quiet. Problem solved. Any questions let me know, it could be the bearing, frictional glides, motor or blower wheel.

How do you replace a drive belt on a blomberg dryer

This is a fairly straight forward job for a service engineer, but requires a lot of dismantling to fit the new belt. Also be aware that worn bearings and pulley wheels etc. can cause the new belt to have a short life if they are faulty/worn and not replaced.
