On the Toy Story Signature Collection Buzz Lightyear I found on that the wrist communicator will never close. How can I make the wrist communicator close and open?

Is it NEW? Return it if in warranty time. you've used it past warranty time? Well, hope you get a better answer like mine, though I doubt it. Toys are designed to las just until warranty is over, even expensive toys, and actually I don't know about any Toy-repair Service.

You most likely have a bad connection. Use a volt meter to check for continuity between the + an - wires on the On/Off switch. If that has continuity then check wires coming from the battery holder.
Just pull off the jet pack. The first couple of times it is real stiff and you think you are going to break something but it comes right off. Pop out the wings so you can get your fingers under the jet pack and pull hard. It pops right off.
