Samsung 47 inch tv how to connect external speakers
SOURCE: how do i connect external
You will need to use powered speakers (like the ones used for a computer) and plug them into the headphone socket.
Most flat screen tvs dont have connections for extra passive speakers.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply and remember, even if you don't vote for me a please and thank you goes a long way

Yes,
depending on how many speaker you intend to run will determine the type of amp you will need. Set the output on the source unit to optical out. Connect the optical cable to the amp. Connect the speakers to amp. turn them all on and select the iput of the source unit on the amp and enjoy.
good luck

get a 3.5mm -> rca adapter. You need to convert from the 3.5mm jack that your speakers uses to the rca jacks that your tv expects.

Try a firmware update from Samsung. If that does not work, replaced the Main bd.
