Most of us have owned appliances that have malfunctioned or stopped working all together. If you have a basic knowledge of wiring diagrams and decent mechanical skills, and would like to do you own repair instead of paying someone a fortune to fix it, keep in mind that most major appliances have a wiring diagram tucked away somewhere within the appliance - usually folded up and attached under one of the panels. Also, if you know the brand and model number / serial number, you can usually find wiring diagrams, parts lists/descriptions and exploded views on the internet. This has helped me to trouble shoot and repair many appliances of my own and of friends.
I don't have a diagram or the part numbers to the minor and major repair kits, but a Stihl dealer should be able to help. Tell him you need a kit for a ZAMA C1Q type carb. The exploded view should be with the kit.
What kind of manual do you need. The service manuals are only given to Hobart technicians while they are attending training classes for that paticular piece of equip. I have a parts manual w/ exploded views if needed. A operators manual/guide can be downloaded from Hobarts website. You will need Model, Serial & ML # or spec #.
