SOURCE: ice maker leaks inside freezer

check the water discharge hose which fills the ice maker after ice is dumped into the bin. the line is located in most cases at one end of the ice maker and allows the water to flow into a funnel like device above the ice maker mold. the hose has the diameter of a penny, it is probably misaligned with the ice maker itself/

Had the same problem, your ice maker is a known defect, insist they replace it. Don't expect heavy ice output -- our biggest complaint.

SOURCE: samsung frost free fridge freezer ices bottom of freezer

it means that the freezer heater is bad, it's located after you remove the racks from the freezer and removing the back panel, it's at the bottom or below the condenser.

SOURCE: Ice Maker quit making ice cubes

Look on the bottom of the rectangular motor housing for the ice maker. This is the white box that holds the front end of the ice tray. In the past, this was normally a small patch of black 'runner' that covered the switch and helped kkep moisture out.

If you cannot locate it by feel, try using a small mirror and a flashlight to help you locate it.

SOURCE: water is leaking outside the door. once u open the

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the Freezer is because the water has been leaking into the freezer instead of running into the drain hole...If you need any further assistance please feel free to comment again. good luck! P.s Please don't forget to rate my solution thanks! Mike.

Bottom freezer door will not close

a) Door may be mis-aligned on the track

b) In a rare case, you may have ice layer building on the bottom floor of the freezer due to defrost drain line block. This ice layer might cause the door not to close properly.

c) May be other reasons too

Why is my Viking refrigerator/bottom freezer leaking water out bottom of door? There is a layer of ice on bottom of freezer.

The ice on the bottom of the freezer is blocking a drain hole. When the freezer defrosts automatically, water drains out the bottom into a tray, where it evaporates away and you never see it under most conditions.

The solution is to either defrost the freezer manually and let the ice melt, or pour some hot water into the bottom of the freezer to thaw out the ice and clear the blockage.

If the drain is plugged because of some foreign matter, either method will make a mess, so have some towels at the ready to sop everything up if need be. If it is blocked, a can of Air Duster (like for cleaning electronics) might be able to blow the blockage out, if you seal the nozzle tube up as it is stuck into the drain.

Most likely it is just ice blockage.

You can access the drain tray (where the water goes to evaporate) by removing the grille on the front bottom of the fridge and peeking / poking around. You might want to keep an eye on it as you defrost the freezer or pour hot water in the bottom - it can over-fill quickly.

Everything in the freeze has a thick layer of ice

Typically, this is an indication that the seal on the door needs to be either cleaner or replaced. begin by cleaning it thoroughly, also clean the frame of the door. Then defrost the ice using a blow dryer and dry it. Then over the next few days you will know if it is the seal if the ice forms again.

Water/freezing to ice at the bottom of the freezer MZD2766ge

sounds like a drain clog in the freezer compartment above. remove the freezer rear panel and totally defrost the evaporator area, directly under the evap you see( under all that ice) a small drain hole that has become frozen over, try defrosting with either a hair dryer( not a heat gun too much heat youll melt everything) or by pouring hot water down the drain until you get a free flow of water down the tube. after its clear reassemble and you should be fine
