The celcius gauge reads 37.8 while the interior temperature reads around 175 farinheit. There is a temp. Limiter on the back of the machine that must have some effect, but I do not know for sure. Also I would life to find a users manual. Thank you: Gerald Campbell. 9368707442
Hi Gerald, this post looks to be about a year old, but here is a little info. This is manufactured by Sheldon Manufacturing outside of Portland Oregon. Their tech services guys are very good (800-322-4897) and they can email you a manual or help you over the phone. It sounds like the temp probe has failed or the temp display calibration is way off. I would first use a certified reference thermometer to make a calibration off-set. Put the thermometer at center mass and let stabilize for 1 hr. Then press both the up and down arrow on the temp display simultaneously for 5 seconds then release. You should see "C O" on the display. Use the up an down arrow to change the reading to match the reference thermometer. 37*c is 98.6*f. So if your reference thermometer is accurate - you can see the calibration is way off. Wait 5 seconds and the screen should go back to the normal display mode. Don't adjust the OverTemp controller on the back without following the steps in the manual. The system on the back prevents the incubator from getting too hot.
