How do control temp. On a vwr 2310 incubator

The celcius gauge reads 37.8 while the interior temperature reads around 175 farinheit. There is a temp. Limiter on the back of the machine that must have some effect, but I do not know for sure. Also I would life to find a users manual. Thank you: Gerald Campbell. 9368707442

Hi Gerald, this post looks to be about a year old, but here is a little info. This is manufactured by Sheldon Manufacturing outside of Portland Oregon. Their tech services guys are very good (800-322-4897) and they can email you a manual or help you over the phone. It sounds like the temp probe has failed or the temp display calibration is way off. I would first use a certified reference thermometer to make a calibration off-set. Put the thermometer at center mass and let stabilize for 1 hr. Then press both the up and down arrow on the temp display simultaneously for 5 seconds then release. You should see "C O" on the display. Use the up an down arrow to change the reading to match the reference thermometer. 37*c is 98.6*f. So if your reference thermometer is accurate - you can see the calibration is way off. Wait 5 seconds and the screen should go back to the normal display mode. Don't adjust the OverTemp controller on the back without following the steps in the manual. The system on the back prevents the incubator from getting too hot.

My double door galaxy (5 year old or so) seems to be at the right temperatures but the control reads 56 degrees for the freezer and fridge

Get a thermometer for both fridge and freezer to ensure temps are correct. Freezer should be around 0F and fridge around 37-38. If temps are correct but display is reading that much differently, control is most likely bad.

Temp gauge and blazer jumps around when driving

Vehicle temperature gauges (temp gauge) read the temperature of the liquid in cooling system. From what I understand, the temp gauge jumping around has since gone away after you placed water into the radiator. It is very possible that water converted into steam was trapped in the cooling system and reached the temp sensor in your engine. The vehicle moving caused this steam to shift around reflecting rapid changes in temperature on the sensor, causing the needle to jump around on your console.
Hope this helps.

I have a honeywell thermostat magic stat/32 model 3200. It reads celis and not farinheit. Just started doing this.

Remove main stat from subbase. On back of main stat there are some screws used for different settings. Screw "C" if for fahrenheit and celcius. Screw in for fahrenheit and out 1 turn for celcius.

Water damage

Good sign, means circuit board is not fried, but the software will have to be updated. You may get lucky enough to find a software update on the manufacture's website.

No warm heat comes out, just cold air

it is possible the thermostat is the problem, but if it is stuck closed the engine coolant temp gauge (if you have one) would show an overheat reading. most temps gauges will read 195 to 205 degrees. the other possibility is if you have an automatic climate control system, the blend door motor may have failed and will not adjust correctly to the temperature you have set for the interior
