There is a hole on the back of the tablet that you can stick a paper clip in to reset the computer. If this doesn't work then I would make sure you have the right charger for the tablet. You have to use the round DC charging hole to charge it. It will not charge thru the USB port.

you can wipe it as for removing code that is not going to be possible, to reset to manufacturer settings there is a pin hole on the back push this with a pin in the hole and turn on the unit this will reset to manufacturer settings, you may still have all your stuff on there but the settings will be back to new and you will need to set them back up after.

Try to fine out what is defect the charger, the cable, or the tablet, by testing other cable, charger and tablet. not all 3 the same time, but one at the time.
