I have a utility I use whenever I work on someone's computer who has forgotten their PW, or have inherited it from others, etc. and don't have the PW. It might help with your trouble. At the very least, it won't help and no harm done.
You can download from my website at;
http://home.centurytel.net/vfw_987/ntpb.zip
Simply save the file to your computer and unzip it. Make sure there is a 1.44mb floppy in the floppy drive and run the install.bat file. Then reboot from the floppy drive and follow the prompts. The program will blank all Windows passwords and you can then reboot and enter a new PW or not, as you prefer.
Possibility of a solution, but you gotta trust me on this. I won't beoffended if you ignore this or scan the utility with a mal-wareprogram. In fact, I recommend it!
Hope this helps.

When you go into safe mode use the administrator login. If it prompts for a password just press enter (we'll hope you haven't set one there) and you should be able to get into safe mode. Then navigate to control panel>user accounts and delete the password or reset it. See instructions here.
If that's not working, and you've tried rebooting while you tap F8 to get into safe mode and that still doesn't work, you might find something further here.
If not, I'd say you have to take it to a local fujitsu tech and have them open it back up for you. Your son will be happy to pay for that, of course.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Hello, I think you can plug in an external keyboard in one of the usb ports on the side (not the back ones) One is for an external mouse, and one for a keyboard.
If you have an external keyboard with a usb plug on it, try plugging it in and entering your password that way.
Doesn't everything bought new have warranty of some kind?-It does in the UK anyway.
Kind regards,

You may have to re-flash your system in order to correct the problem.
Please try and follow the detail below.
It is looking for apassword (WiFi Network Key) You have to double click on the little computericon down in the right tool bar area, the one with the two side radiating arcs, and possibly has a small red X under it. The red X indicates that it is NOTconnected. When you double click on that icon a window called RT28701 opens up,then you click on Wireless Information tab, then you cursor down to the name ofyour WiFi and high light it and click the connect box. Then another windowopens up called Network Properties. Uncheck "The key is providedautomatically" box. This will allow you to type in your "NetworkKey", the password that protects your network from outsiders. This"KEY" was set up when you installed the router on your servercomputer. If this does not work at first, turn the machine over on its back andusing a toothpick, insert it into the little hole about an inch diagonally fromthe right corner of the data plate, this will re-load a new copy of everythingincluding the WiFi RT28701 driver.

AdditionalInformation
When I try to signon with the red X showing, I get "The page cannot be displayed If I thendouble click on the icon down in the right corner I elucidated above, RT28701opens up to "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) with all zeros in the IP addressfield, and Subnet Mask, with no entries in the default gateway. That is a clueto me that the automatic sign on has not found a viable network, or needs somethingelse. If I then click on Wireless Information tab, the list of availablenetworks, appear in the box. The machine keeps trying to associate my previousentered name site with my preferred site and tells me the signal is good, butit cannot link up. This is a signal to me that it has lost my Network Key orthat the software has failed or both. I then click on advance anddelete my preferred network and hit OK, this will force the software to ask mefor my network again, and notice that the preferred is missing. I click on thename of my network again and then hit connect., then the Wireless Networkproperties window opens up and I can insert my Network Key again after Iuncheck the "The key is provided automatically" box. I enter the keyand hit the OK button. I still do not get a connection, so I reboot themachine, and wait for about 30 seconds and the machine synchs up because thelittle RED X under the icon has disappeared. Now the machine will hook to theinternet as long as I want to, but sometimes when I turn the machine on it willnot synch, so I go through the above sequence again. The secret is once youhave entered your key and ask for the machine to synch up you have to reboot. Why? I do not exactly know, but I suspect that the WiFi driver looses it
