Unfortunately not. Once it has been updated, there is no way to downgrade it. You can check with the makers of the M3 card to see if they've released a new firmware, however, that counters the newest DSi version.
sounds like you have a faulty crank angle sensor or cam angle sensor or both. try replacing them one by one or take it to a workshop with a diagnosis tool to verify.
