SOURCE: LCD Monitor Acer AL1717 shtting down problem

Hello,

Aside from the capacitor and IC, there's a relay that you need to change. You need to locate that defective relay on the PCB and replace it.

It would be best to consult the manufacturer of the LCD and get the exact part number of it.

The 8 pin IC is UC3843A, SMPS controller. The 14 pin IC is TEA1533AT.

Transistors are with just three pins, so what you are seeing there should be an ic and not a transistor.

It is ics that have numerous pins, transistor have just three legs(pnp) or (npn).

So what you see is an ic.
