I have learned through out the years also that if your leaves are turning like a yellowish brown they are lacking magnesium. in that case add a tablespoon or 2 of epsom salt.

Have you had rainfall followed by hot sun.. could be scorched

Dwarf citrus trees are especially suited for container growing as they can be kept at manageable .... Yellowing leaves most often indicate lack of fertilizer or poor drainage.
