Best place for cold cut meats is the bottom drawer in the refrigerator. It's also good for cheeses. That drawer is the coolest but not freeze place. The upper two drawer are good for veggies and fruits. We put the lever controls in the middle selection for them.

George forman grill taking way to long to cook, are there any recalls?

It depends on several things. How thick is the cut of meat? Thicker cuts take longer than thinner. Is the meat cold or room temp? Are you putting too much meat in the grill at once? All of these go into effect when you cook anything on any cooking appliance. The directions are a general guide

Fridge not freezing meats

I was writing a big note here before then hit the wrong button, it was just a bunch of jargon anyway. Yes it is the condenser fan motor causing your problems. Doesn't cool the refrigerant properly than nothing works. I would change the fan before it causes any damage to the compressor.

Kenmore top mount refrigerator bought new in august 2010 - kept in a heated garage. have not had to use the freezer compartment up until now. we put meat in it and the meat got cool but did not freeze. ...

The refrigerator compartment thermostat may be the culprit. If you can remove it, you can check its calibration with iced water. Make sure you check the fan motor and the fan blade condition.

You need to remember heat rises and cold air falls. The best way to load a freezer is to put meats on the bottom. They take alot longer to freeze and thaw and can save your stock if you have a power failure. Keep non-critical things like ice cream, ice, and other thing towards the top for quicker access.
