I keep getting a message that sign on has failed when i havent been trying to sign on,then im asked to reset my password, this is going on with two of my accounts, i have reset my password three times in the pass six weeks, i was told by teck support to delete the account and make a new one, which i did on one account. cant do the other i have to many things connected to it, to many things to redo,this isnt an option. now my two accounts cant sink send nor rec messages

What is your birthdate on file ....if it's under 18, then for any purpose yahoo will ask you captcha image verification. again if you put any link or .exe attachment it will ask for captcha verification...To save from spam yahoo providing more security for it's users. Nothing to worry.. If you have the link to change the original birthdate on file..I think the chineese exploit still working...hope it's not patched yet...please go ahead ... Have a good time

at the first place.her id is reconcile in yahoo data base.so she should create an account with yahoo first. she just have to use another name to register, because someone has used that name. so please select from the options you be given. and continue with the registration

SOURCE: I can't get Outlook set up for my new ymail

my understanding is that you need to have yave yahoo plus to get this to work, yahoo plus is the paid version for you to have pop access which means be able to use an email client (like outlook) to retrieve yahoo mail there.
now if you have not paid for yahoo plus you can do the following:
1. switch your yahoo account to be localized to asia, which should also (for now) allow you to use pop access on a free yahoo account, you need to look around into the account options (Its under Account Info, Account Settings,Set Language Site and Time Zone or something like that)
2. once 1 has been completed go into yahoo and add your yahoo account, * for logon info use only your yahoo user name (not the @yahoo.com) * enter your correct password *for incoming email server: pop.mail.yahoo.com *for outgoing email server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
3. go into more settings>advance * incoming server port should be 110 *outgoing server port should be 587
