SOURCE: Hi! What does error code E10 mean?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

It depends on which model it is but in any case following is (only) a suggestion as to what COULD be the cause. In any case the task of checking the filter should be carried out on a regular basis

Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

E10 error code. What does that mean?

All depends.

All question need 'make model (what it is)'. Otherwise it is a guessing game. Question was in Audio Players, so moved to Misc.

E10 - Water supply is slow or insufficient. This error will be displayed when the unit senses that the water supply is insufficient and is taking too long to fill the tub with water.

Drying

The E10 error code means - not filling water.
The problem could be because of clogged filters on the water inlet line or a malfunction inlet valve.
Also there is still some water inside accumulated so please do check the filter for blockages. To avoid other errors check the outlet valve and the filter as a precaution.
Good luck with the machine. Please do rate my solution. Also do post comments for further help if needed.

I have a Frigidaire Gallery front load washer with E10 error code

When ours does that it is because of the hard water build up. We have to un-hook the hot water clean out the minerals and it stops doing it.

I have a Fridgidaire Front Loader Washer _ Affinity. It has an error message flashing. E10. What does that mean? What do I do to fix it?

I have a Fridgidaire Front Loader Washer _ Affinity that flashed the E10 error code. I also had the problem with the fabric softener dispenser not emptying, and staying full of water. The problem was the cold water filter on the back of the washing machine that was semi-plugged. Cleaned the filter and now works perfectly. My machine is no longer flashing the Error code 10. The dispenser works perfectly.

Error code E10 on the electrolux ecovalve EWF1087 front load washer. What does this mean?

E10 is a timeout code. I found the answer on google by refining my search criteria. The tap was not turned on enough for the washer to fill up in time before the timeout was reached. After restarting the washer and turning the tap on further, the washer cycle completed without error.

E10 error code

I had this problem, the washer/dryer stopped working while in the drying cycle and displayed e10 message. It was caused by a faulty three-way inlet valve. The solenoid controlling flow to dryer condenser proved to be open circuit. Pulled washer out from under counter top, unplugged, removed top cover, tested solenoid circuits with ohm meter and found one solenoid was faulty. The filter going into the unit was clear. Replaced whole three way component with one ordered on Internet and all now works fine. Noticed that during drying cycle, water to condenser is constantly being switched on and off, explaining why the green condenser solenoid is the one that wears out first.
