How do you set a magnita on a mower - Craftsman 17.5 hp 42 in. Deck Lawn Tractor - CA Model

Without the make and model we can't help you other than to tell you to contact the manufacturer for the specific info about lowering the mower.

My mower says 30 thou or 76 MM
to set the spark plug. All my mowers are set for that. even my tractor.

If you mower does not have adjusters on the wheels then there should be three holes where the wheels are bolted onto the base. to adjust these you have to take each wheel off and bolt them in the same hole for each wheel. The top holes are the lowest the mower can be set the middle ones bring it up part way and the bottom hole is the highest setting. You should set the mower to cut at least two and a half inches above the ground. The center holes should be good.

Steven, I think you have diagnosed your own problem. Check the specs you used to set the valve clearance. If you don't have any specs, set them both to .020" and it should run fine. Be sure that you set both valves just about 15-30 degrees before TDC on the compression cycle. (both valves closed)

You mean the flywheel? You need a puller for that, and it threads into the flywheel with left handed threads!

look at the magnita the round **** under the coil you make just have to sand it with a fine sand paper and maybe the under side of the coil
