Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

I HAVE A FRIGIDAIRE AFFINITY DRYER (AEQ6000CE32). WHENEVER I PUT THE CLOTHES IN IT JUST SPINS FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES AND SHUTS OFF BEFORE THE ALLOTTED TIME. THERE IS NO HEAT IN THE DRYER. ANY SLOUTIONS?

Frigidaire affinity front load dryer error code E53
The E53 error means that the drum speed control board (centripetal motor switch) is giving an abnormally low voltage. The problem could indicate that the speed control board is bad, the wiring is faulty or the main control board has a problem at this wiring harness connection. Check the wiring for any damage (check for continuity and corrosion at the connections). If the wiring is bad, replace the speed control board first.

I see that your Frigidaire dryer is displaying an error code of "ad". The "ad" error code will display with the "Auto Dry" cycle has been selected. If you did not select the auto dry cycle I would suggest performing a reset on your dryer and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes. Once power has been restored to the dryer and if the error code is still persistent you may need to have a replacement control panel or wiring harness installed. This is a fault code for a stuck key on the board. You may have to remove the control panel and check the keys. If this does not work you may have to replace the panel or control board.
