I have a water dispenser that dispenses bottled water cold/hot. The problem is the cold part does not get cold and the blue light doesn't come on. Any ideas of where to start?The brand name is polar.

Page 7 of the manual list some options. Please make sure that you're cooling full bottles in your machine for at least 60 minutes. That is, cooling take at least 60 minutes. Heating is only 3. Double check that the fuse linked to the outlet that powers your machine hasn't blow. For more details, please check page 7 of your product manual.

Check around the back for a reset button, this is caused by running the water too low. If there's no reset, there is a part called a "thermal fuse' mounted to the side of the hot water tank to prevent fires. We typically service Hoshizaki, but you may not be getting water into the resivior. Depending on model, you may need to remove bottle and probe and check the silicone seal, reseal and re attach. Where can I buy the spigets for a Sunbeam water cooler. I need one for hot and one for cold water. These handles are not strong enough plastic to last the lifetime of the unit. They should be made from metal. If the taps on our kitchen sink was made from plastic you can imagine how long they would last.
