Check the switches phones-speaker, check the connectors between the speakers and the amplifier, try to connect the speakers to some other amplifier to detect where is the problem , in speakers or in the amplifier.

SOURCE: New GPX Home Music System - no sound

Unfortunately, GPX has, in my experience, a poor reputation for quality. I wouldn't delay either exchanging it or filing a warranty claim once you are sure you have done your homework and have things set up correctly.

Mp3 sound doesnt sound right

The right speaker is open, a digital meter set to ohms will confirm, good/bad should measure 4.0 ohms to 8.0 ohms, if no reading it is bad.

The CD player does not work

It sounds like a mis-aligned laser or faulty laser unit. Either way unless you have experience of fixings cd players yourself its a job for the technicians. Good luck.

Right speaker jack

Are you using the same cord for the mp3 player as you are for the cd and radio? There could be a patch cord problem or it could be the output jack of the mp3 player. If using headphones with the mp3 player works both right and left then it must be the patch cord. Try using a different patch cord.
