If you are having steam problems then the cartridge needs changing.
I phoned them (0161 652 1211) and they do sell the cartridge for £5.99 including delivery but are out of stock for a couple of weeks. You have to send them a cheque or postal orders. Good luck.
Send Cheque for £5.99 for each cartridge with note of model etc.

Sounds like the Steam control valve is blocked or not opening. try cleaning the iron with a kit from wallmart or similar store. Failing that :It may be cheaper to buy a new one from wallmart or similar store.

There are several thermal sensors around the tank, did you make sure they were not damaged or bent...they are "bi-metallic" strips, meaning they are two disimilar pieces designed to have different thermal expansion rates so at certain temp they separate (open) or move together (close) telling the control logic board to enable heater. Do make sure you did not bend them or over torque them when reattaching to their respective attachment points.

Hi,
Brown water and whitescale are often the result of the water you use in the iron...
If you have scale, white vinegar will clean that...
For brown water, empty the iron, rinse out the insides with bottled water,
and then use the bottled water instead...

If the iron heats but steams improperly, inspect the soleplate and clean the vents (see below) and flush sediment out of the steam chamber .
If the iron produces too much or too little heat, test the electrical cord . Also test and, if needed, adjust calibration of the thermostat .
If the iron does not spray properly, inspect and clean the nozzle.
If the iron leaks or spits, clean the steam vents, nozzle, and tank.
If the iron sticks to fabric, clean or repair the soleplate. If the iron stains fabric, clean the soleplate, clean the tank with a commercial cleaner, and use distilled or filtered water.
