What are the temperature on the settings of washing machines?

Wash temperatures are not able to be changed, they are dictated by the thermistor sensor and the setting of the EPROM in the control board, however, the 40' Wash temperature refers to the wash labels tags in clothes. About 20 years ago when HE detergents came out, manufacturers reduced water temperatures by 10'C, so although it is a '40' Wash', you should find the temperature is lower. Check it with an infra-red thermometer.

since it's hard to say, what is mixed fabric , just for sure use low temperature for washing and also low temperature for drying

We have a new machine and a couple of the settings take about that length of time. We have a setting that does a wash load in around 30 minutes and tend to use that. It is a lower temperature and a slightly slower spin speed (1100 instead of 1300).
I believe it is because modern machines only have a cold water fill and no hot so the water has to heat up to whatever the setting is.
Try a lower temperature and spin speed, or if your machine has an "eco" setting, give that a go.

The problem with BOSH model WWD45 washing machine not comlpleting the wash cycle going On & On endlessly, in my case was temperature related. This fault was diagnosed by setting temperature to COLD, instead of 30? or 40?. The machine was able to complete its full cycle with no problem. In my case I found the heater element to be faulty. When the wash is set to a certain temperature, the program awaits for the temperature to be reached. Because the resistance in element is broken the water never heats up, therefore the program cycle never finishes its waiting for a temperature feedback. Alfredo da Silva

We had this problem & called our repair man in. We had accidentally knocked the 'Variable Temperature' dial down too low. It should ALWAYS be set to max (95). The programmer will still sort out the correct temperatures for the different programmes, such as cold wash, but setting that to whatever temperature means that that is the max it will ever reach, Since then, we have not had that problem again.

The washer fills with cold water then heats it up 3 degrees a min. Your problem does sound like a faulty thermostat. Especailly if the glass door does get hot even if it is on 85f.

Usually, washing machines use the water from the water heater directly. Most water heaters are set to 120 Fahrenheit which is 48.85 celsius.
