When moving a widget from the bar at the bottom, on to the main screen to use it, I accidentally left it sitting low on the screen and clicked the W again to close the Widget. I can see it hiding behined the bar at the bottom. I've tried clicking W again but it's so low it won't let me select it to drag it up again. Therefore it's effectively stuck there and I can't access it. ARGH!!
How can I reset the widgets without resetting the whole phone to factory settings as that would be a total pain.
Thanks
Julie
This should help you...
Open your widget bar by touching the "W". Once it's open, add all of your widgets to the home screen. Stack them from top of the screen down. that should allow you to scroll down to the one you can't get to otherwise. Now simply move that one up higher, then begin to put back the ones you don't want into your widget bar in order from bottom to top. Once you have them docked back where you want them, click the "X" to close the widget bar.
Problem should be solved.
Hiya parasol. I've had the same problem - if you fiddle around with scrolling the home screen around with your finger, the widget comes back! There's an illustrated example on the user guide which you can access by going to menu-settings-phone settings-information-phone guide-idle widget. It's a bit fiddly, but it works!
