Would need more info like what is the printer and will windows 7 support it, you would need the new driver from the printer makers website

Assuming you have another computer, or can get to one, being as you posted the help note, go to the manufacturer website and download the driver, they have them there. I just did a quick check, and there are lots of other places, too, with the driver for free download. Just put in the "Compaq EL81 lan driver xp" for the search.
