How to remove back seat on 1999 i30 plus backrest part

You need to remove the rear seat cushion to get to the holding bolts of the rear seat rest.
To remove the seat cushion, check under the front portion of the seat for any holding clips that if pulled or pressed will release the seat.
After removing the cushion, you would see a bolt on either side of the seat rest. Remove them and lift the seat upwards to dislodge it from the locking tabs behind it.

How to remove back seat of 1999 cavalier

Look on the bottom of the lower cushion, where it meets the floor. If you don't see 2 screws or bolts (one on each side of cushion) there, then there are clips that the bottom cushion uses to fit tight into the floor. To remove the bottom cushion, you shove it towards the rear and then lift up and out of where the clips hold it fast. Sometimes you really have to push the cushion hard towards the rear to get the clips loose. Then you lift up the bottom cushion and remove it. Now you can remove the upper portion of the seat. Usually there are 2 bolts down at the bottom of the upper cushion. Remove those and the upper portion can be removed. If there are no bolts on the bottom of the upper cushion, then you just lift it up and out of slots that held it fast.
Do the bottom cushion first.

How do you remove the back seat to get to the fuel pump?

On what? 3 possible ways the rear seat cushion is removed. On some the seat has clips that lift straight up. Or some have 2 small bolts at front bottom of rear cushion. Remove the bolts and seat slides out easily. The final way is old style: a heavy wire on bottom of cushion, one on each side, fits into slots that come up from the frame underneath. To remove, push cushion hard to the rear until the heavy wires can be removed (lifted up) from the slots. Do one side at a time. These are the most difficult to remove the rear bottom cushion. You have to push hard against the cushion near the bottom of it, pushing it backwards, so the wire comes out of the slot, and then cushion can be removed.

First try lifting straight up on the cushion. Since there is an access panel to the gas tank, it is very possible the cushion is easily removed by lifting straight up.

Where are the fuses located for the air conditioner in a 2001 pontiac bonneville

The interior fuse box in a Pontiac Bonneville is underneath the backseat on the driver's side.

To remove the rear seat cushion:
1. Pull up on the front of the cushion to release the
front hooks.
2. Pull the cushion up and out toward the front of
the vehicle.

To reinstall the rear seat cushion:

1. Buckle the center passenger position safety belt, then
route the safety belts through the proper slots in the
seat cushion. Don't let the safety belts get twisted.
2. Slide the rear of the cushion up and under the
seatback so the rear - locating guides hook into the
wire loops on the back frame.
3. With the seat cushion lowered, push rearward and
then press down on the seat cushion until the spring
locks on both ends engage.
4. Check to make sure the safety belts are properly
routed and that no portion of any safety belt is
trapped under the seat. Also make sure the seat
cushion is secured.

Notice:
The battery and main fuse blocks are located
under the rear seat cushion. The battery's ground
terminal and some relay wires are exposed.
To help avoid damage to the battery and wires,
be careful when removing or reinstalling the seat
cushion. Do not remove covers from covered
parts. Do not store anything under the seat, as
objects could touch exposed wires and cause
a short.

On hoveround teknique fwd chair, showing 8-bar trouble code with all functions locked out. i need to a) raise the seat so it can be removed and b) restore function to the chair. any suggestions apart from...

An 8 Bar Flash on the controller of a Teknique FWB indicates: Possible Control System Trip
A control system trip is indicated. Make sure that all connections are secure. This means that one of the wires attached to the junction box, or the umbillical, may have come disconnected.

Is your power chair equipped with an optional power seat lift? If not, raising or lowering the seat will not restore function to the power chair. Have you tried doing a brake reset just to see if that will help? The manual brake levers are under the bottom front of the chair base; turn off the controller, pull the levers down then push them back up until the pop into place. This reset will clear many issues.

If you are able to check the wiring for the junction box and wish to remove the seat, you can do so, but the Teknique series is terribly difficult for the average end-user to work on and is recommended that a Hoveround Technician do it. Hoveround will not even ship batteries for self-installation to owners of any of the Teknique power chairs because they are such a pain to work on. The seat must be fully removed to gain access to the batteries under the motor cover and most power chair owners do not posses the kind of strength and dexterity needed to do it.

The seat post can be removed by removing a bolt underneath the seat, you will also need to unclip the black umbilical cord leading from the controller to the motor cover so that you do not yank it out when you remove the seat. The motor/battery cover can then be unbolted to allow you access to the batteries and junction box. I cannot give you details on how to do this, because as a Hoveround Tech Support Rep, we are instructed to dispatch a technician for the customer's safety and I have never done it myself or even seen it done.

If your Hoveround was purchased via your Insurance, they will most likely pay for the repair, but it may take time to schedule the appointment if the Insurance requires documentation or verification before allow the repair to take place. If you are in need of additional assistance, please contact Hoveround Tech Support at 800-964-6837 on Wednesdays or Thursdays when the call volume is lower. It's worth a shot.

Good luck!

How do you remove the rear seat of 2004 honda accord

Release the two latches at the front of the seat cushion (pull back on the latches to release the front of the cushion).

Remove the seat cushion bolt and remove the cushion (it’s roughly in the center. You have to insert a socket extension between the back and bottom seat cushions to take it out, after you find it by pressuring the bottom cushion and looking back in there).

Remove the bolts (each side) securing the seat side bolsters (they are easy to see once the bottom cushion is removed), then remove the side bolters (gently release the clips that hold them in).

Pull the seat forward, then remove the fasteners securing the seat hinge (seat pivot bracket) and remove the seat backs.

Hope this helps you.
