My phone is not turning on

maybe the keypad system of your phone is not working.. you must visit the Motorola service center for that problem..

well actually if the ph does not have any other button to turn it off u can not do that, so probably u will need to purchase a new ph

Yeah, I got the exact problem too with my V9 and I eventually found out that it was about the small button located the right side of it (one of the smart button) it stucked inside and it keept all the other buttons away from working then I opened it and got it done.

you need to master reset your phone and also update your software settings

I had this exact same problem on my phone... the send and back button worked perfectly but the end button didnt work at all. I looked online and couldnt find any real good solutions except for reporting it lost... Once i realised the phone was probabally never going to turn on again i decided to take and chance and use a knife to take the button off of the bottom of the phone. Once the button is pryed out, you can use a knife to test your buttons, if they click in they should be working, if they do not, then they may need to be removed and replaced back on. In my case i had to remove the end button and place it back on. It only took a few minuites with a knife and to be honest i had no idea what i was doing. BUT it worked. I had to readjust the metal piece under the button but once i got it to where i wanted i tested it with my knife to see if it worked, and once it did i replaced the plastic piece back (which was slightly more difficult than taking it off... but it fits back in trust me!) If you put the button in wrong you will know it and you'll have to take it out and put it back in again correctly. Once its replaced... your phone should work good as new! Mine did. and i dropped it in water. So good luck hope this helps!

same thing with mine! the buttons wouldnt work at all except the number button so i decided to remove the battery and restart it but now i can turn it on cause the turn on button wont work!

its problem wid software .just flash d set and work.but u ll loose all data.

my old razr did something similar to this and they had to send me a new one. :( sorry.

Double check that none of the buttons are stuck down. Try removing and replacing the battery.

BDEATH HERE. I KNOW THE SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM.. TAKE OFF THE BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK AGAIN. THEN <<<>>> AND THE TURN ON BUTTON >>>> EXPERT FINGERS TO DO THAT :) KEEP HOLDING THESE THREE BUTTONS AND THE TURN ON BUTTON AND THE DEVICE WILL DISPLAY ''FORMATING'' THEN LEAVE THE BUTTONS AND LET IT FINISH.. TATTAA FINISH AND IS GOOD AS NEW!! THATS ALL!! AND SOMETHING else if you have some seconds before gets crazy try dial *#7370#. it might reset your phone to the factory form which is good!!!!
