SOURCE: LG Tromm - WM2688HNM - Detergent dispenser full of water & some detergent after wash.

sounds like you have calcium build up, this happens alot with LG's. need to take out the dispenser and clean the calcium with industrial lime away, that only works good for me, but others will do, also use a sharp object, like a ice pick or finishing nail, to scrape off any left over hard residue.
the calcium will clog all the holes in the dispenser.

if this doesn't solve your problem, then there is one thing left
just email me and ill give you the other solution.....

Where does the fabric softener and washing powder go in the LG WF-F5207PC 5.5KG top loading washing machine?

Put powdered detergent in the box at the back of the opening of the washer (opposite the control panel when the lid is open). If you use a liquid detergent, dilute it 1:1 with water and pour into the bleach dispenser at the front left of the washer. The fabric softener dispenser is near the bleach dispenser but a little closer to the tub and towards the middle of the left side of the unit. As with a liquid detergent, dilute 1:1 (30ml:30ml) with water before pouring into the dispenser.

If the fabric softener dispenser isn't working, add the fabric softener in the final rinse.

The manual for the washing machine is available here: http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/LG/WF-F5207PC-_E . You will need to review the unit or enter a security code.

I hope this helps.

Why does a lot of detergent remain in the soap dispenser after a washing cycle is complete

Was the dispenser cup wet when you added detergent?
Make sure the dispenser cup is dry before adding powdered detergent. If dispenser cup is wet, the detergent can clump.
Is the cycle incomplete?
If the previous cycle did not complete, the detergent can become caked in the dispenser cup if it is left sitting in the dishwasher.
Is the detergent old?
Older detergent exposed to air will clump and not dissolve well, which will cause the dispenser door to stick to the detergent. Replace detergent if necessary and store the detergent in a tightly closed container in a cool dry place.
Is the water temperature too low?
For best washing and drying results, water should be 120oF (49o C) as it enters the dishwasher.
Were items blocking the dispenser that kept it from opening?
Items blocking the detergent dispenser will keep it from opening. Make sure water action can reach the dispenser.
Detergent guidelines
  • Use automatic dishwashing detergent only.
  • Other detergents can produce excessive suds that can overflow out of the dishwasher and reduce washing performance.
  • Store tightly closed detergent in a cool, dry place.
  • Fresh automatic dishwasher detergent results in better cleaning.
  • Add detergents just before starting the cycle.
  • The amount of detergent to use depends on the hardness of your water and the type of detergent.
  • If you use too little, dishes won't be clean.
  • If you use too much in soft water, glassware will etch.
  • Suggested fill amounts are for standard powdered detergent. Amounts may vary if you use liquid or concentrated powdered detergent. Follow instructions on the package when using these detergents.
  • Water hardness can change over a period of time. Find out your water's hardness by asking your local water department, water softener company, or county extension agent.

Detergent dispenser tray not draining water after cycles

I have the same problem and sometimes water stays in the detergent tray as well. I don't have a solution other than to remove the whole tray and drain in the sink after each cycle.

Can I use bleach with the laundry detergent for a load of whites?

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. You need to preload all your detergents/liquids in a tray and let your washer do the work. No more “figuring out when to add softener, bleach or detergent”. The electronic controls on the LG WM-2277HW are clearly labeled and easy to use. This washing machine comes with standard dispensers for fabric softener and bleach and there is also a detergent dispenser.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Detergent dispenser stuck

Had the same problem here today, the softener dispenser blue plastic piece was loose jamming the whole dispenser tray, to resolve remove top cover, two screws on top rear, slide the cover towards the back, you will then see the detergent dispenser, press the right clips and pull it off slightly at the back; do not put too much pressure and try to remove the cover completely, just pry the plastic cover a bit then pull the detergent tray it should come right out.
