make sure the ice maker is turned on, push and hold the little round button on the front for 15 seconda and see if it starts up an cycles. Also check to make sure the fill tube isn't clogged to the ice maker and another thing to check is the water valve.

Kenmore 795 leaking water behind ice maker

I would first check the hose that brings the water from the pipes in the house up into the icemaker make sure that's not leaking. Then I would check all of your connections, Making sure they are good and tight and that there's no holes either in the copper line or the poly plastic line. If all of that checks out fine and you have no leaks there then I would investigate the icemaker.

My water dispenser in the door is leaking water from behind the lever whenever it is pressed

Hi Daniel Roland - There are many reason for this issue to occur, for example the refrigerator could have a crack in the defrost pan, a defrost drain line blockage, a leak from the water supply line for the ice maker, but most cases water leaking inside and draining through the refrigerator cabinet. Try confirming that the vales are tightened. If the connection is still leaking, turn of the water supply line to the water valve and take the connection apart. You can try using Teflon tape when retightening the connection to ensure a good seal. Should this suggestion prove to be ineffective contact a professional to properly diagnose and repair the refrigerator a good seal.

Hi, I have a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator model #596.76253702 that leaks water from the bottom every time the ice maker refills. The problem keeps getting worse since I purchased this product 2 years ago.

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.
If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

Ice maker water not stopping
The water inlet valve may be staying open. You can swap the wires on the dual water inlet valve and disconnect the water line at the valve which goes to the ice maker. When you try the water dispenser the water will come out there. When you stop the water dispenser, if the water at the valve doesn't stop, the valve isn't closing so you'll need to replace it. If it does stop after trying it several times then the problem is with the ice maker.

Our Kenmore Elite french door bottom freezer, automatic icemaker, no water/ice dispenser on the door - is leaking quite a bit - had to mop up the floor three times today. first time it's happened since...

Check for cracks in the water supply tube from the house plumbing valve to the ice maker. Could also be the valve itself.

Turn off valve for a day to diagnose which.

Kenmore side by side: ice maker works...ice

Probably a broken plastic tube from the solenoid valve to the water outlet tube. It will stay dry until you try to get water then it may take a few days to dry out.

Good Luck,

I have a Kenmore model 106 9555710 SxS - no wate through door

check inside the bottom of the refrigerator for water, the water line goes thru the back of the refrigerator and it may have cracked and leaking inside instead of going to the dispenser.
if not then water is most likely frozen in the line going thru the back of the refrigerator. look behind the pans in the refrigerator and there should be a coil of clear plastic water line, this is the reservoir that chills the water for the dispenser. sometimes it will freeze up if the refrigerator is very cold.
