I wont to be able to take my lawn tractor thru the swamp with enough power! cause its supper swmpy in my back yard!
You have to locate a Briggs Power Sports dealer. They are the only ones that can provide racing or performance parts for the engine if you want to keep original equipment parts. I am including a link to their website dealer locator, if you input your zip code it will show you the nearest dealer to your location. Dealer Locator Briggs Stratton Racing

check for flywheel to coil pickup clearance .
point type coil to flywheel the airgap should be 25- 1000ths with feeler guage. on electronic ignition coil to flywheel pickup the air gap should be set @ 10-1000ths with feeler guage. hope this solves your problem..........lemmee kno.....chris

Most all manufacturers have the Users Manuel available on line you will need the Make and Model to pick the correct one. Have you replaced the battery. It can show the correct voltage but have no cranking amps. I believe if the solenoid is trying to engage the Dead Man switches are closed. With the starter disconnected from all power sources do the teeth on the starter turn or are they locked up? If they refuse to move do you have an Auto Zone around or another parts store or electrical engine repair store that can test the starter. Make sure the mowing deck is not engaged while you are trying to start the engine. I hope these rudimentary suggestions help.
SOURCE: engine wont fire has spark gas not getting thruogh
pour alittle bit in carb & if it starts then it could be the fuel pump or the fuel lines
SOURCE: lack of power and ''pops'' back through carb
I believe you have an air intake gasket leak or your carb is not properly adjusted. How is the spark?

Could be serious, such as a broken ring or valve issue. Also, could be relatively minor. Might have gas seeping into the crankcase. How full was the oil when checked? Did it look like it was thin and runny, like diluted with gas? If so, change it and put the correct amount of oil in the engine. Run some fuel line cleaner, such as gumout or SeaFoam in the gas tank (about 1/4 cup). That may help the issue of the gas flowing thru the carb and into the crankcase.
