SOURCE: need a spark plug size for a yardpro self

If your mower does not have "OHV", overhead valves. You can use a Champion j19lm spark plug.
If you discover you do have overhead valves; A Champion RC12YC, will work.

SOURCE: My lawn push mower will

Check to make sure you are getting fire/spark at the plug, if so then do the following:
Check/Clean/Replace your fuel filter if you have one, normally they will be located in the fuel tank.
If the mower/weedeater is over a year old, then I recommend that you buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
Sounds like you will need to clean the carburetor or replace your carburetor internal rubber parts like the diaphgram and O rings.
Be sure to use compressed air to blow out all the fuel and air passages.
Be careful when blowing out the passages, because there are sometimes small rubber type seats in the bottom of some of the passages.
Sometimes you can get by with priming the carburetor or using starting fluid and letting it run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets, but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
Keep in mind that the float for the carburetor must be level when you go to reassemble the carburetor or follow the instrucitons you get with the carburetor kit.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, you will first need to lightly seat the jet screws.
But before you lightly seat the jet screws count the number of turns it takes to seat the jet screws from their original position.
Be sure to mark the turns down on a piece of paper.
That way when you put the jets back in, you know to lightly seat them first and then turn them back out to their orginal position before you started.

SOURCE: I just changed the spark

Hi rubelwas

Remove your spark plug and check to be sure you are getting fire at the spark plug, if you are then:
Check your fuel filter if you have one, normally they are located in the fuel tank.
Also make sure you are using fresh fuel...and oil mix if your using a two cycle mower or weedeater with the oil to the right mixture and not too much oil as it can cause hard starting.

SOURCE: what spark plug does my yard man lawn mower take?

According to my data, you'll need a Briggs and Stratton Part No. 692051 for that machine. Cross reference to Champion Plug RC12YC. Note that this plug shows a recommended gap of only .020, as opposed to the .030, most Briggs plugs use. Best of luck to you.

SOURCE: Lawn Mower runs rough & dies has black sooty spark plugs

A good place to start would be to remove air cleaner assembly and give it a good wash and service and take a close look at choke assembly/lever to be sure it isn't sticking in on position, while trying to run it with air filter off..

Can you use a champion spark plug rdj7y in 6.5 silver series lawn boy mower

Anthony you can use any kind of spark plug brand as long as its the same size. Sometimes they have a longer sparking element and this will catch on the piston. Just be careful.

Yard machines by mtd 11b-509n062 lawn mower is leaking gas from what appears to be a fuel line. The fuel line is a few inches below the gas cap.

Not sure what the question is. If the fuel line is leaking it is because it is not on the bottom of the tank well or it has a crack and needs to be replaced

Lawn boy 2 cycle mower won't start

Replace the spark plug and retry.
If a new plug does not work push the spring button on the bottom of the carburetor to make sure fresh fuel is in the fuel bowl.
if this does not work remove the spark plug and squirt some light oil (like wd 40) right into the spark plug hole; roll the engine over slowly a couple times using the starter rope. put the plug back in and snap the plug wire in place. If the mower now starts after a couple pulls it means the rings are worn, replace the rings.
