There is a VitaMix Guru that knows his stuff! He is fantastic, and a very Good Person. He donates some of his earnings/commisions for being a helper/associate/dealer/representative ( But I don't think he is a VitaMix Employee) to charities. That is a good person.

It very likely needs a new pot switch. That is the rotary one that varies the speed. Purchase through your local Vitamix service agent in your country.
