On Status Sheet of my printer Maintenance Unit says that it is "needed soon". How do I reset this Count?

On the Ricoh 3713 you can do it on the main board by putting dip switch 101-1 on and then off, entering
97, and pressing the aps key. Then power cycling the printer.
The 3500 is probably similar.

Turn the printer off. Press and hold the select and return buttons while powering on the printer. Release the buttons when the display shows "Perform Self Test". The printer will continue to boot-up. When ready the display will show the word Config Menu. Then press the menu button untill you see the Reset Maintenance Count option. Then press the select button. The reset command shows on the second line of the menu. Press the select button again to reset. Now press the menu button untill you see the Exit menu and press select. The printer will now automatically reset itself and boot up ready to print.

Hi~
You can reset the maintenance count by going to the Configuration Menu.
Step 1: Turn off your X64x printer
Step 2: Hold the 2 and 6 buttons while the printer is off
Step 3: Turn on the printer but don't release the buttons yet. Keep holding those buttons for about 10 secs
Step 4: On your Operator Panel, you should see "Configuration Menu"
Step 5: Scroll down and look for "Reset Maint Count" and select it.
Step 6: Exit Config Menu and powercycle your printer (turn it off then back on)
Hope this is helpful... =)

yep. as long as the print quality is good and stable, and the toner consumption is good (8K to 10K of pages per bottle) you can just reset the maintennace count at f7-03 on service mode. probably your machine count reached at 120k. :)
