ok do you have a meter a volt meter ill tell you a better way to do it go to the back of the refrigerator and un plug the water valves then open the freezer door turn on the water if you hear the water running replace the valves if you don't replace the ice maker module the range for pressure is 30-120psi the valve just might be sticking from being dry for so long

pull the cover of the front of the ice maker. there should be directions as to what way to turn the main gear (use a philips screw driver). advance the ice maker until it starts to run on its own. if water comes in at the end of the cycle then you need a new ice maker. if no water comes in check to make sure the fill tube is not frozen. if it is clear replace the water valve.
Good Luck,

The problem is most likely the water control valve on the rear of your refrigerator. You can test the ice maker by filling with water and let freeze. If ice dumps then the water valve must be replaced. Your model has 3 different choices of water control valves. If the ice maker does nothing but freeze the water and not cycle or dump the ice then I would say the thermostat inside the ice maker is defective. Thanks, Sea Breeze
