I have to ask. Did you reconnect your supply lines and turn them on? Are they burst proof? If they are, change them.

SOURCE: Water pump failure?

The water pump drain motor has something stuck in it or it has gone bad like most LG parts.
Remove the drain pump and look for any foreign object to be removed.
Check the drain pump for a failed pump motor.
LG is pretty.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the feedback - good, fast solution. Took the pump apart and verified that there's nothing in there that shouldn't be. Ordering new now. "

SOURCE: During the spin cycle the washer makes a loud

If the 'loud noise' water sloshing you should first check that the pump filter isn't blocked. This sometimes stops the pump altogether. Coins, etc..If the noise is metallic it could mean bearings...Check the pump via the small door at floor level...Mind the water inside the machine. You may be able to drain first with a small hose which is inside the pump access door.....Nomess

The washer will not complete the cycle. It will not drain and spin.

There could be two problems...The drain could be clogged, or the water pump could be bad. Or the belt that runs the pump is slipping or broken.
1 Fill washer with water and wait for the timer to get to the drain mode.
2 Unplug the washer from the electric outlet.
3 Open the case, and disconnect the water hose from the outlet of the water pump.
4 If you get water pouring out from the pump, then plug that up and check the hose to the sewer. If that is clogged, then you have found the problem.
5 Some washers have a self cleaning filter in that hose somewhere. Check that to be sure it is working properly.
6 Reassemble hose from step 3.
7 Plug washer back in. If it pumps out now, then you are done. If it doesn't, then the water pump is probably defective, so replace it.
8 Reassemble washing machine case...you're done...

My lg WM2277HW is not draining water. It's filling with water and spinning but not draining the water. An oe error is being displayed. I checked the hoses and they seem fine. I checked the filter and there...

Remove and inspect the drain pump. (access is from the bottom of the washer once you remove all screws holding the pump housing in the front)
If no debris found when removing pump or pump impeller is damaged - replace. PArt number 4681EA2001D.
If found debris when removing the pump - reassemble and check again.
Good luck.

My washing machine will not spin and drain the water out

if it doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows: If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it--but be sure to check the pump pulley before you change the belt. If the motor isn't running, the lid switch may be defective. If so, the washing machine can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Washer leaking water from bottom

You may want to check the seal at the bottom of the agitator, there is a o-ring that keeps the water in the drum from leaking through the agitator as it spins. This is a cheap seal and will wear over a period of time from exposure to bleach and detergent. You need to take the agitator apart and remove it from the drum and you should see this seal at the base of the agitator were it meets the drum.

Replace the seal and reassemble, take the metal casing off the washer and fill the drum with a little water, wait, and see if the water is leaking under the drum. If no leak, try to reassemble and run the washer. If is still leaks then check http://www.applianceaid.com/genew.html
