SOURCE: Bunn coffee brewer leaking

Is this a lot of water, or just a small amount.

As the unit sits over time and runs heating cycles, it may have some vapor come out of the vents. That will cool and collect around the unit.

try turning the unit off for the weekends. If you still have water around the unit, then it may have a leak in the tank.

SOURCE: No manual with Bunn NHBX coffee maker.

Leave the unit unplugged and add a carafe of water to the top reservoir.
Close the lid.
Wait a bit to make sure the water has drained into the tank.
Add another carafe of water to the top reservoir.
Place carafe on warmer plate.
Close the lid.
When water stops going into the carafe, you may plug the machine in and make sure the "travel switch" is in the ON position. ON = |, OFF = O.
Wait at least 15 minutes for the water in the tank to heat up, and brew as you normally would for other BUNN coffee makers.

Please give Customer Service a call with the model and date code. If the machine is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced with a new machine. If it is older than 3 years, it can be exchanged for a reduced price.

My Bunn nhbx-b leaks water when brewing coffee

you could remove the cover and look for the connection that isn't connected properly - - be careful not to touch electrical connections/bare wires when cover is off - or take it to a technician - or contact Bunn directly for suggestions.

How do I fix a leaking Bunn Coffeemaker model NHBX-B?

This is a home model pour over. Overfilling is the most common cause of leakage as there is no plumbed in water line. You should only pour in the amount indicated on the decanter. If it is overflowing, check if you have the right decanter as someone may have used an old pot from a larger brewer. Say there was a 12 cup pot around and now you have a 10 cup brewer.
* carefully pour water to the inner fill line. You will probably see a ledge or spill off hole on the inside of the fill tank. Some units will spill out the back, others may spill back into the drip funnel. Note at what point you get near the spill level and note how much is left in the decanter. The amount left is your over flow.
* If you want more accuracy then use a measuring cup and count how many cups are needed to fill the brewer.
* Unplug any brewer that has water coming from the base. Dry up the area and drain the brewer. Dry off and let sit to completely dry out. Refill, note any leaks? If okay then plug in and brew as normal.
* still having problems? Contact your vendor for service.,

My 10 cup Bunn coffee maker leaks from the top of the water resevoir, from the right top side and from the back top. It looses aprox. 2 cups of water onto my counter while brewing. What has happened to...

I have the same problem and I took the coffee maker apart to find out why. It has to do with a leak on a fitting. On mine I found that the fitting where the hole in the black plastic that the water flows through to get into the stainless steel tank needed to be repaired with some silicone sealant to fix the leak. Still making some coffee!

Bunn coffee maker leaks all over the counter. What

there's probably a 'silicon rubber' hose that feeds hot water to the 'grounds basket'- it may be loose, or damaged. is it leaking water, or coffee?? we have a bunn 8-cup, which has a pre-heated water tank that brews a pot in about 3 min. energy waster, but when you need coffee, you need coffee!!! is your filter holder properly centered? is the carafe lid hole clean and un-obstructed?
if it's leaking water, and not too costly to replace- you may consider replacing it with a new one!
good luck!

No manual with Bunn NHBX coffee maker.

before plugging in place your empty filter basket in the coffee maker and place a pot under it. Slowly pour in two pots of water using the pour pitcher. Now you can plug it in. it'll take 15 min to heat up first time . when you brew your first pot leave your water level a little short, because the water will expand (only the first time)

Water leaking

The silicon seal inside the coffee maker tends to disintergrate. Bunn Inc. does not sell parts for the inside of the coffee makers, but a seal kit can be purchased through a small appliance repair center or repaired for a small cost. Kit is about $8.00 at most places.
