Get the motherboard manual. The manual should have the motherboard connections.
If this does not answer your questions please post and give a more detailed explanation as to what you are trying to do.

"The front panel audio header on an Intel® Desktop Board lets you connect to a front panel audio module built into a system chassis. This document describes the header pin-out configuration for connecting a chassis with Intel® High Definition Audio (HD Audio) or AC'97 audio.
Note HD Audio headers are pin-compatible with AC'97 chassis and connectors. "

No mic audio

Hi
cordless mics consist of the following parts:
mic capsule- audio and copression amp- Xtall and RF section.
In your case RF is ok. Test mic capsule ( using an audio amp or simply connect it momentarily to a 1.5 vollt battery and listen for a "khesh" noise from your capsule. If your mic capsule is ok your amp and compressor section is either damaged due to a reverse battery connection or you have " cold solder joints" on or around the audio amp. Hi! i am using Intel DG33FB motherboard, i need the information about the connectivity of front pannel audio. for this it is Realtek HD audio port. i am having 5 cables set for the front pannel...

The L&R-Ret2&3 are common so only one needs fitting so for the speakers you only need to connect 3 cables. R-Out, L-Out and one return (either L of R). I'll comment back shortly on the mic pins for you.

Emachine t1840 wiring diagram power switch wire to mother board ?

Because there are so many different case and motherboard combinations sometimes it can be difficult following the instructions for connecting the front panel, USB header and audio header.

Below is a few generic guide that should stop some of the confusion with the labels on the wires.

Front Panel Audio

***Please note this is a generic wiring guide and we can not guarantee it will work with every motherboard. Please check your motherboard manual first. Wiring the headers wrong can cause damage to the motherboard and case, this damage is not covered by the warranty***

another handy USB wiring guide can be found here http://www.directron.com/installusb.html

this maybe easier to follow

Front panel Mic not working when connected to Mother Board

Yeah, sounds like the case wasn't designed for that board. Just carefully double check the pins in the manual for the board. If you don't have the manual, check the asus site.

Headphone problem

Did you installed all drivers ?

Are there FRONT audio jacks you are trying to connect your headphones/mic ?
Dit it work before ?

First install all (incl. audio) drivers and try to get audio from BACK connectors (Green is speakers/headphones, Pink is Mic.)
If it workson on REAR, but not on FRONT connectors, check if you have another icon for AUDIO settings in Control panel and try to set FRONT audio settings.

Check if FRONT audio connectors are connected to your motherboard.

Regards.
