I try to put the drill bit in the drill and it doesn't lock. As soon as i turn the drill over to use, the drill bit falls out.
This is a very easy fix - you have a quick change chuck on this tool. Turn the chuck counter-clockwise and pull it straight off - the new one goes on the same way. Quick Change Bit Chuck
SOURCE: BIT FALLS OUT/ WON'T TURN
try pulling the chuck back at the same time turning the bit while installing it should drop into place release the chuck, then make sure the lever just in front of the trigger is switched over to the rite side to use the hammer action.hope this helps
SOURCE: BIT FALLS OUT/ WON'T TURN
there should be no need to pull the chuck back while inserting a bit. simply apply consistent pressure to bit while slowly turning it in the chuck. if the unit has been maintained, the bit will eventually line up with the chuck and slide in an additional 1/2" or so - locking into place. the chuck only needs to be pulled back to release bits.
