What dose it mean when the lid lock is flashing red

Usually if you cut the power at the wall, it will release the Lock solenoid.

Lift lid, stick screwdriver into slot where lid latch-pin inserts and see if it goes into the cycle. If so, try adjusting position of latch.

What is the model number listed on the unit?The lid lock assembly is broken. If you are under warranty get it replaced. If not remove the top of the washer and take out the switch assembly. The 4 wires going in are Yellow, Red, White, and Blue. If you short the white and blue together, the washer thinks the lid is closed. If you short the red white and blue together the washer thinks the lid is closed and locked. The yellow is only there to activate the electromagnetic switch.
Disconnecting the switch assembly will not work.
The electromagnet locks the lid and it also unlocks the lid. It is not a matter of cutting the power to the magnet.
Installing 2 switches that connect the red white and blue is the best option if you want to remove the lock.
The first switch should connect the white and blue. (LID CLOSED)
The second should connect the red to the white/blue connection. (LID LOCKED)

Hi, DL means Door Lock Failure while F is either (F80, 82,
84, 85).....
DL flashes if the following conditions occur:

• Door lid is not closed completely due to interference.
• Wash media buildup is preventing the lock bolt from extending.
• Machine/motor control detects open door lid switch when attempting to lock.
• Machine/motor control cannot determine if door lid is in a locked state.

7 blinks (roof lock switch,not operated by user)
9 blinks (rear window switch not operated by user)
These codes mean user has not undone roof locks or rear window is not fully closed
Providing that is not your problem,reset roof control unit
Turn ignition off
In under bonnet fuse box remove fuse 32 7.5 amp for 20 seconds
Refit fuse and check roof operation
This clears codes and resets roof

1 red light means general hardware failureand it is pretty much the same as 3 red lights but it is has a slightly different problem. if you are under warranty send it of to microsoft. they will repair it for free. if not buy a new warranty for 60 dollars.

The 1E error codes relates to a lid lock failure. You should replace the lid lock switch. Good luck!
