You need to check the gas supply
and venting system for any problems clogs etc
there is a detection circuit just for these and its very sensitive

Maytag MDE4658AYW electric running hot on all settings, even on air fluff

If your Maytag MDE4658AYW electric dryer is running hot on all settings, even on air fluff, it is likely that the heating element is not working properly. Make sure that the heating element is securely connected to the dryer and that the power switch is in the "on" position. If the problem persists, you may need to replace the heating element or contact the manufacturer for assistance.

Dr comes up wont start

dr is door error
this generation of dryer has alot of control board failures(the relay for the heat burns the terminals for the wires)
you can inspect these relay connection visably by removing the front control panel

you might want to try setting the machine to the fluff/air dry setting and try starting the dryer, if it starts in air fluff you need to check the connections on that relay
this is not a factory taught test.
its just something a customer pointed out one time and i have tried on many after the fact, and for whatever reason these machines will still run in fluff mode when the board is gone.

I have a Samsung DV218AEW Electric Dryer that continues to heat during cooling cycle. Have replaced heating coil, all 4 thermostats, cleaned out all duct work, checked the blower for blockages but...

At this point I'd complain to the company as it sounds like a fire hazard. Check to see if there has been a recall on it, but I wouldn't turn it on and leave the house. It is not your fault......it is a manufacturers defect...at least that is my opinion.

My LG Tromm electric dryer won't heat - again.

if the high limit is popping the dryer is getting to hot,i know you say you checked the vent line but i've heard that before, when i get out i remove the vent from the back of dryer, change out the t-stat and run it with the vent line off and it runs fine, how long is the vent line?if it's a long run remove it from the back of dryer and stick a leaf blower into it,blow it out to the outside and see what comes out, also first run it on air fluff,if this is a newer dryer set it to timed dry and then you can set it to air fluff,go outside and feel how it blows, then after you blow it out check it again,if you see alot of lint blow out and it's blowing harder your all set,you should take the dryer apart and clean it and the vent line once a year and you won't have any problems like this, also you won't have to worry about a dryer fire, your clothes will dry on time and less parts will have to be changed out, also when you get it to heat again run it on air fluff,if it gets hot on air fluff you have a shorted heater, one of the coils are touching the metal box on the heater and the heater won't shut off, also you have to clean out the duct where the lint filter slides down into,if this is blocked the dryer can't push the air out the blower wheel is blocked with lint.hope this helps you out happy holidays

Heating element stays on, even at fluff air no heat setting. Replaced high limit thermostst and thermistor Air flow good

If your heating element is grounded (wire burnt in half and is touching metal) the heat will stay on forever, even in air fluff. This is your most likely problem.

Dryer starts, then stops, beeping 3 times.

Seems that the most likely problem is that it is overheating and triggering safety cut out. Most likely reason is that the airflow is somehow blocked. Check filtering and air entry and outlets for blockages, lint build up etc..
