In order to prevent any confusion or potential damage, just empty the freezer, turn the power off, and leave open for a couple of hours.
To expedite the process, place a couple of large pans with boiling water inside the freezer and shut the doors.
Remember, unplug or turn the frig off in the process.

My 2010 Ford Transit Connect won't let me fill the gas tank. The pump shuts off right after I start filling. I removed the filler pipe assembly and it appears clear as does the inlet to the tank.

It's probably the filler some filler heads you have to keep constant pressure on or they shutdown or filler isn't in deep enough causing a back flow shutting off the flow

Opened up the freezer to find a spray of ice over everything. Assumed it was water from the icemaker so shut it off. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, bob.

Suspect ice delivery tube froze slowly causing water to compress and spray. Delivery tubes can naturally freeze. Altho it more often happens because the fill valve does not shut down 100%. Small amounts of water are pushed via line pressure and slowly restrict the delivery tube. Fill Valve 4389178 Est $85 -110.

Drinking water line at door frozen ,how to fix

Move the frozen food into the refrigerator side and turn off the freezer. Leave the door open to help it thaw quicker. A blow dryer helps to speed things up. When the line thaws, turn the freezer back on and move the frozen food back over. I am curious why it froze. Was the freezer temperature set too low or has anyone been inside the door to move the water line or insulation???

Dishwasher wont fill

I fit won't fill then apparently you're not getting any water to it, which means it not's fixed. Did you turn the service valve back on since the repairs were made? Sometime when you turn a service valve off they fail to re-open. Crack the inlet water line and verify that you have incoming water.

Whirlpool refrigerator will not make ice

This is almost always due to a faulty shutoff valve. The valve is at the back, where the water line connects to the refrigerator. Turn off the water supply, remove the water line with a wrench. You should be able to take out the valve with a few screws and by removing one or two wiring clips and the plastic line on the other side leading to the fridge. A new one costs about $60 - $80 at a appliance parts store. Bring the old one with you, and the refrig. model number, and make sure the new one looks the same as the old.

The problem stems from the valve continuing to leak a bit of water to the icemaker after it fills the tray and shuts off. This trickle of water freezes and blocks the line, so matter how many times you defrost it, it will just happen again.

Icemaker isn't making any ice

Your fill tube that fills the Icemaker could be froze up, The plastic tube that goes into the icemaker. Sometimes they get froze shut. You can remove it from the back of the fridge, just pull it out from the back and take a look. If that doesn't work, Let me know.

Ice Maker Not Making Ice

There is no pump per say.. the water pressure is all that fills the ice maker and provides water to the drinking dispensor. The solenoids are also different, one activates for ice maker and the other for drinking water. The fastest way to check water flow is to swap the wires on the solenoids so the drinking water "power" will now power the ice fill solenoid. Once the plugs are swapped and you press the drinking water lever the ice maker should pour water out the fill tube. If that works then you know the solenoid, tube, etc. are all fine. I'd suspect then that the ice maker fill solenoid isn't getting power when it is suppose to fill. Let me know what this test result is.
